Boundary Control of Some Infinite Dimensional Systems
نویسنده
چکیده
We will consider the feedback stabilization of a class of in£nite dimensional systems by using boundary control, i.e. control inputs are applied at the boundaries of such systems. Such systems usually possess an internal energy, and along their solutions a conservation of energy equation hold. By utilizing this relation, we will prove various stability results. We will also give an example on the application of the proposed technique to some well known passive systems. We will also present some simulation results. Copyright ©2005 IFAC

A STRONG COMPUTATIONAL METHOD FOR SOLVING OF SYSTEM OF INFINITE BOUNDARY INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS
The introduced method in this study consists of reducing a system of infinite boundary integro-differential equations (IBI-DE) into a system of al- gebraic equations, by expanding the unknown functions, as a series in terms of Laguerre polynomials with unknown coefficients. Properties of these polynomials and operational matrix of integration are rst presented. Finally, two examples illustra...
متن کاملAn Axisymmetric Contact Problem of a Thermoelastic Layer on a Rigid Circular Base
We study the thermoelastic deformation of an elastic layer. The upper surface of the medium is subjected to a uniform thermal field along a circular area while the layer is resting on a rigid smooth circular base. The doubly mixed boundary value problem is reduced to a pair of systems of dual integral equations. The both system of the heat conduction and the mechanical problems are calculated b...
متن کاملTwo-dimensional advection-dispersion equation with depth- dependent variable source concentration
The present work solves two-dimensional Advection-Dispersion Equation (ADE) in a semi-infinite domain. A variable source concentration is regarded as the monotonic decreasing function at the source boundary (x=0). Depth-dependent variables are considered to incorporate real life situations in this modeling study, with zero flux condition assumed to occur at the exit boundary of the domain, i.e....

متن کاملTwo-Phase Nanofluid Thermal Analysis over a Stretching Infinite Solar Plate Using Keller Box Method (KBM)
In the present study, two-phase nanofluid flow in a three-dimensional system is modeled over a stretching infinite solar plate and the heat transfer analysis is performed for this problem. The governing equations are presented based on previous studies and the suitable solution method is recommended due to infinite boundary condition in the problem. Keller Box Method (KBM) using the Maple 1...
